Job summary

HP Hood LLC in Concord, NH is seeking a skilled maintenance mechanic to install, maintain, and repair plant equipment and infrastructure. The role requires hands-on trouble shooting, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work with various systems including electrical, plumbing, boilers and refrigeration.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and participate in optimization of processes with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with plant equipment, electrical, plumbing, boilers and refrigeration.
• Experience welding and with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair plant equipment and facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, boiler and pumps systems.
• Operate and maintain wastewater and associated processes as required.
• Follow safety policies; perform preventative maintenance procedures.
• Work with little supervision; overtime/weekend/holiday work may be required.
