Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods Distribution Center in Lisle, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support equipment and conveyance systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics on a 2B shift (Tuesday–Friday, 5:30p–3:30a).

The role requires an Associate's Degree or a 2-year technical certificate and 3–5 years of experience, with LOTO knowledge and ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings. Applicants must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or 2-year technical certificate in mechanical/electrical field.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and electrical drawings.
• Familiar with DC-specific software and asset management tools.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA/LOTO safety standards and PM procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and conveyance systems; document work.
• Report spare parts usage to maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely.
• Support DC operations as needed.
