Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our DC operations. Shift 2B: Tuesday - Friday 5:30p - 3:30a; rate $29.55/hr plus $1/hr shift differential. Responsibilities include maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics and pneumatics, and training junior techs.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree or 2-year technical certificate, 3–5 years’ experience, and strong safety awareness, with ability to read schematics and perform LOTO.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in mechanical/electrical field.
• 2-year vocational technical certificate preferred in mechanical/electrical discipline.
• 3–5 years of related experience in maintenance/repair.
• Welding, burning, cutting skills are required.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Experience with LOTO and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO protocols.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and conveyance systems; document PM work.
• Report spare parts usage to maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to raise performance levels.
• Work with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
