Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems across manufacturing facilities in the United States. You will perform preventive and emergency maintenance, replace components like motors and drives, and support PLC-driven machinery, including robots.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in manufacturing maintenance, with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repair, and motor control experience; welding (MIG/TIG) and blueprint reading are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or equivalent
• AA degree in related discipline with 7+ years of related experience preferred
• 4+ years in manufacturing maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical repair, and motor controls
• 1+ years HVAC/Refrigeration experience a plus
• Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical blueprint reading required; read blueprints from non-U.S. manufacturers

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots advanced mechanical and/or electrical breakdowns of machinery.
• Assists with preventative and emergency maintenance program.
• Replaces parts (e.g., motors, drives) as required.
• Understands PLC programs for machinery including robots.
• Fabrication, MIG/TIG welding required.
• Provides technical support for maintenance and engineering.
• Completes all work orders and repair logs.
• Provides training to maintenance personnel as required.
• Follows safety guidelines (Lock out/Tag out).
• Maintains general housekeeping of work area.
• Works on other maintenance projects as assigned.
