Job summary

The Krusteaz Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our Manhattan team. This role focuses on reducing downtime by diagnosing mechanical issues, applying electrical and PLC expertise, and supporting production across multiple systems.

Strong candidates will have experience with motors, drives, pneumatic systems, and industrial maintenance software. A high school diploma and relevant trade training are preferred, with a willingness to work a flexible shift.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience using aerial work platforms and forklifts.
Food manufacturing experience is desired.
Exposure to Allen-Bradley PLC & Factory Talk software preferred.
Exposure to AC and DC motors, VFD and VSD drive experience preferred.
Exposure to Festo, SMC, and Similar Pneumatic Systems
Relevant trade or technical school training preferred.

Responsibilities

Support production by bringing equipment to base condition through a variety of Industrial Maintenance functions.
Interpret blueprints, fabricate metal, perform plumbing, pneumatic and millwright activities and understand motors and drives.
Collaborate with production staff to enhance reliability and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot, operate maintenance software and document PMs and repairs.
