Job summary

Hallmark in Lawrence, Kansas is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install and maintain production equipment. This full-time role (40h/week, Mon-Fri, 7:30am–3:30pm) involves electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems work to support manufacturing operations.

Candidates should have technical training or a high school diploma with repair experience on industrial equipment, plus ability to read schematics and work safely with PPE. Flexibility to move between areas is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent and technical training in electrical fundamentals or HVAC.
• 2+ years mechanical/electrical repair on industrial equipment or relevant training.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical connections, repairs, and troubleshooting on AC control systems.
• Repair power transmission systems and fabricate machinery parts.
• Read basic machine schematics and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot PLC-based machines and motor control systems.
• Perform utility connections for pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Operate welding equipment and work with PPE as required.
