Job summary

The Mosaic Company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety standards at its Mulberry facility. The role requires handling heavy equipment, following PM schedules, and participating in safety and training programs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 4 years of mechanical experience or an apprenticeship, and be able to operate cranes and forklifts. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred; associate/vocational training is a plus.
• 4 years of related industrial mechanical experience or completion of an accredited Apprenticeship.
• Phosphate industry experience is preferred.
• Must be able to operate mobile equipment such as boom trucks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Repair machinery and equipment per established job plans.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose machinery and equipment.
• Repair on emergency or break-in basis; lubricate PMs.
• Operate overhead cranes; assist with rigging and lifts.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Input work requests into CMMS and maintain records.
