Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center. You will maintain and repair conveyors,PLC-driven systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related equipment, ensuring uptime and safety in a fast-paced DC.

Shift 2B: Tue–Fri 5:30p–3:30a with a $29.55/hr base plus $1/hr shift diff; target pay range reflects diverse responsibilities and location-based factors.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or technical certificate in mechanical or electrical applications required.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a distribution/industrial setting.
• Welding, burning, cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages and equipment.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements and PM standards.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Report spare parts inventory and daily usage to leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Collaborate with outside vendors on DC projects.
• Perform additional duties to support DC operations.
