Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our facilities team in Kansas City, KS. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on base building and critical system equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction.

The role operates under the IUOE Local 710 and requires CFC/EPA Refrigerant certification, HVAC/refrigeration experience, and the ability to work across trades.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalent.
• Technical expertise in building/industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work multi-skilled tasks across trades.
• CFC or EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Experience in HVAC/refrigeration for commercial/industrial facilities.
• Strong oral and written communication and customer service.
• Ability to walk stairs for inspections and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on base building and critical system equipment.
• Install and repair plumbing systems; pumps, motors, heat exchangers.
• Replace bearings and seals on pumps and motors.
• Perform general maintenance including painting, welding, drain snaking, carpentry.
• Maintain tools and order supplies for installations and repairs.
• Keep logs, document repairs, close work orders, and track time.
