Job summary

University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS is seeking an entry-level Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician I within Facilities Management. Under direct supervision, you will perform basic preventive maintenance and assist journey-level technicians across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and piping systems.

You will log work in CMMS, adhere to OSHA-LOTO and PPE protocols, and participate in training to advance toward Level II qualifications.

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school certificate or associate degree in a building trades discipline.
• Two years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with CMMS (Maximo, FAMIS360, ServiceNow).
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry or Construction certification.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and utilities.
• Assist journey-level and senior technicians with repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and piping systems.
• Log all work in CMMS and maintain accurate records of inspections and maintenance history.
• Complete inspections and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and confined-space procedures.
