Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on facility and process equipment incl. MAU, generators, separators, towers, pumps, air compressors, drives, boilers, and steam systems.
• Repair malfunctioning equipment (Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electro-mechanical).
• Follow engineering instructions, SOPs, and departmental procedures; observe health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate CMMS maintenance records.
• Operate equipment: forklift, cranes, hand/power tools, multimeter, alignment tools.

Rotating Shift Structure:

• 4-on/4-off rotation equates to 6-months off every year!

Compensation

• Built-in, guaranteed overtime

What You Will Do

• Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on all facility and process related equipment to include make-up air units (MAU), natural gas fired generators, oil/water separators, cooling water towers, vacuum pumps, air compressors, variable frequency drives, boilers, steam systems, and associated equipment
• Analyze and repair all malfunctioning equipment or systems i.e., Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electro-mechanical
• Adhere to all engineering instruction, standard operation procedures, and all departmental procedures
• Observe and follow environmental, health and safety procedures.
• Positively represent Collins Aerospace's company vision and support the management team
• Know, understand and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and consistently implemented
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Distributive Control Systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Perform water treatment analysis and take corrective action
• Ensure a clean and organized work area is maintained
• Operate the following equipment and tools:
  • Forklift
  • 3-ton and 5-ton Cranes
  • Hand tools
  • Power tools
  • Digital Multimeter
  • Precision alignment tools

Qualifications You Must Have

• HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma a GED is required.
• 1 year of experience in a maintenance or other mechanical focused role
