Job summary

SG360 in Wheeling, IL seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mail and bindery equipment across 1st-3rd shifts. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient production operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience maintaining mail and bindery equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Intermediate level of computer skills.
• Great oral communication skills.
• Willingness to operate across shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all plant mail and bindery equipment.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and inspections of production equipment.
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation.
• Assist and train operators in proper set-up procedures.
• Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment per procedures.
• Report safety hazards to supervisor and maintenance manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
