Maintenance Mechanic - Level 4 (Finance)



As a Maintenance Mechanic Level 4 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of the University of Maryland Campus facilities. You will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on various equipment and systems to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. Your expertise in mechanical maintenance will contribute to the overall success of our business.

You will report directly to our Facilities Manager and you'll work on the University of Maryland Campus.

In this role, you will impact the overall success of our business by maintaining the functionality and reliability of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical & steam systems
  • Conduct inspections and identify potential issues or malfunctions
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic
  • Competence in Stick Welding & Pipe Fitting
  • Working knowledge in Pump Mechanics
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
  • Ability to work in hotter environments and confined spaces, example manholes.
