Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Technician in Portland, OR to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing and facilities equipment. You will repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors and related components.

The role requires at least 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with blueprints, manuals and MP2 or equivalent CMMS. Occasional travel and on-call support are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals.
• Basic technical, computer, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, pneumatic, hydraulic and thermal systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and locate sources of problems using manuals and specs.
• Interface with engineering and maintenance staff to plan and execute repairs.
• Remove, dismantle and replace defective equipment and components with tools.
• Support preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and assist in continuous improvement.
