Job summary

Innophos is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in North Salt Lake, Utah to ensure production uptime through maintenance. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and working with team members to ensure compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, with training in maintenance mechanics or hydraulics, and 3-5 years experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Training in maintenance mechanics, hydraulics, machine shop, and/or electrical controls. Certifications preferred.
• 3-5 years maintenance related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned WO and inspection to company standards with required guidance.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure proper operation and increase life.
• Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction.

Skills

Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Knowledge of production machinery repair and maintenance

Ability to operate machine and power tools

Communication skills and ability to work with other team members

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Training in maintenance mechanics, hydraulics, and/or electrical controls

3-5 years maintenance related experience in a manufacturing environment
