Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Utah to proactively maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance. The role includes assisting with installation, servicing equipment, and responding to service calls.

The position requires 1 year of relevant experience, basic welding knowledge, ability to read technical drawings, and strong mechanical and electrical understanding. Safety and GMP adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• Solid understanding of maintenance fundamentals and electrical power.
• Able to read and understand mechanical/technical drawings.
• Technical welding basics: gas, arc, TIG.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Competent with computers and general technology.
• Experience with air compressors, pumps, boilers, and other common equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing and servicing equipment using required hand tools.
• Answer service calls in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Move/raise components using hoists, dollies, or provided equipment.
• Update daily work communications.
• Maintain tools, powered vehicles, and equipment; keep parts organized.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
• Use and maintain safety equipment on job sites.
• Follow safety and GMP requirements.
• Execute job orders and keep records.
• Participate in RCA activities.
• Assist teammates with troubleshooting.
