Job summary

SI Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service, test and repair mechanical systems onsite. The role involves pipe fitting, pump/valve rebuilds, and millwright tasks, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. You will maintain assets, recordkeeping in CMMS (SAP-PM), and participate in energy isolation activities.

Pay is from $31.67 usd / hour, with standard benefits and opportunities for skilled growth within a safety-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Maintenance Mechanic to service, test and repair mechanical systems and components.
• Proficient in pipe fitting, pump and valve rebuilds and millwright tasks.
• Commitment to safety and compliance in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work in a safe manner to continuously improve the site safety performance.
• Maintain, install, test and service SI Group's assets.
• Perform Lockout/Tagout and other energy isolation activities as appropriate.
• Provide accurate and timely communications to supervisors and colleagues on job status, issues.
• Maintains equipment records and documents utilizing the CMMS (SAP-PM).
• Follow rules for coverage for days off, Sick/Personal, and vacation.
• Utilize email, intranet and CMMS for info and communication regarding duties.
• Housekeeping of all work areas and safeguarding of equipment.
• Comply with SI Group policies and participate in MOC, PHA, PSM.
• Complete CBTs on time and perform assigned tasks.
