Owens Corning in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 3rd - Class to perform skilled maintenance on plant equipment and contribute to safety, TPM and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work on mechanical and electrical systems, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least five years in a related maintenance role, and strong troubleshooting abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain plant equipment and ensure safe operation in alignment with Owens Corning TPM program.
• Participate in TPM activities and continuous improvement projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and equipment manuals to diagnose issues.
