Job summary

CIRCOR Pumps North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician III responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support the site's goals.

Daily duties include safe, compliant operations; performing diversified maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; conducting emergency repairs; coordinating with outside vendors; and documenting parts and activities to ensure traceability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Mechanic Associate Degree preferred.
• 5+ years electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 5+ years mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician (Maintenance Tech III) will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support the site’s business goals and objectives.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform highly diversified tasks to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment and machinery. These duties include but are not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during scheduled downtime. Equipment includes manual and computer numerically controlled machinery.
• Work with outside vendors/suppliers in the installation, repair, and adjustment of machinery.
• Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition parts and materials as necessary.
• Communicate among work team by documenting actions, and sharing information and knowledge of equipment and processes.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Assists other Technicians in the repair and maintenance ofequipment
• Completes work orders, records, logs and other written orcomputer-based documents according to established procedures
• Diagnoses mechanical and electrical problems usingtechnical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical schematics) anddiagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop)
• Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment,moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment(e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment,electronicand electrical equipment, etc.) according to safetyand quality procedures
• Troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical/electronicproblems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic
• Maintains inventory of spare parts for critical machines
• Adheres to all department and company standards, operatingprocedures and safety requirements while contributing to improvement
• May be required to perform other duties as requested,directed or assigned
• Analyzes and troubleshoots reoccurring issues and createsan ROI to support the change.
• Ability to work off-shift hours and weekends overtime is required.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Industrial Mechanic Associate Degree preferred (i.e. Electronics Engineering Technology).
• 5 + years Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 5 + years Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
