Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to repair, install, and maintain complex manufacturing machinery and building systems. You will work in a collaborative team to meet department goals and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Ideal candidates have five years of manufacturing maintenance experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and advanced knowledge across machine repair, electrical, plumbing, welding, and related trades.

Qualifications

• Five years manufacturing machinery and building experience is required/strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of machine repair, electrical, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, millwright and/or facility maintenance.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex interrelated process machinery, seeking efficient, cost-effective solutions.
• Perform internal and external facility equipment or building maintenance (HVAC, painting, plumbing, welding).
• Troubleshoot manufacturing or facility equipment and recommend permanent solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment per scheduled plan (coolants, lubricants, filters).
• Train and coach incoming mechanics on department procedures and work instructions.
• Wear required PPE as applicable.
