Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I for evening shifts in the United States. Responsibilities include performing preventative and facility maintenance tasks, inspecting and repairing equipment, and collaborating with senior mechanics on complex repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least one year of relevant experience, along with the ability to understand instructions and work well with diverse teams. Competitive compensation and benefits package are offered.

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic I - Evenings

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance such as changing coolants, lubricants or filters, following a set schedule
• Perform facility maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, painting, replacing filters, painting, simple plumbing etc.
• Inspect and perform basic maintenance and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment using manual and power tools
• Partner with senior mechanics to repair more complex manufacturing or facility equipment
• Wears required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Experience: One (1) year relevant experience.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
• Basic math, computer and time-management skills
• Ability to self-direct work to complete project within a defined time frame
• Knowledge of machine repair, plumbing, pipefitting, welding, sheet metal, mill-wright and/or general maintenance
• Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds

Target Hiring Range: $21.50 - $25.00 per hour. Actual compensation is commensurate with experience, skills, and education.
