Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic III to support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. In this role you will help maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime while supporting a safe, efficient production environment.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience and enjoys solving problems and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; read electrical schematics.
  • Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems; CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Support and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley or similar).
  • Perform electrical work on industrial systems up to 480V, 3-phase.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and assist with root cause analysis.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Adjust, calibrate, and support equipment setup to ensure quality production.
  • Document maintenance activities using the CMMS system.
  • Recommend equipment and process improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and leadership teams.
  • Support overtime, weekends, and emergency maintenance needs as required.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic III to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. In this role, you will help maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support a safe, efficient production environment. This position is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoys solving problems and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Support and troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley or similar).
  • Perform electrical work on industrial systems up to 480V, 3-phase.

Work Schedule

2nd Shift

Monday through Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Overtime, weekend, and emergency call-in support may be required based on business needs.

Required

What your background should look like

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent technical training.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience working with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Basic computer skills and experience using maintenance software
Preferred
  • Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
  • Injection molding experience.
  • Experience using CMMS systems.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipment.
  • Apply sound problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Maintain strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in various plant locations and working positions.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials and components weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Climb ladders and stairs and safely work at heights using aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and computer systems.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, noise, temperature variations, and industrial equipment.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$52,600 - 78,900 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
