Job summary

Luvata Ohio, Inc. in Delaware, Ohio, is a leading manufacturer of cold formed and machined components and a Mitsubishi Materials group company.

We seek an ambitious maintenance-focused professional to support plant systems, troubleshoot machinery, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance across the facility. You will work with high-speed equipment and hot metal environments, maintain safe working conditions, and communicate progress to supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift 100 pounds, push/pull 300 pounds, lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and position items being worked upon.
• Able to work around hot metal equipment, on lift equipment in the building ceiling, and on the building roof.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Electrical/Electronic experience.
• Computer operating skills required.
• High aptitude for math is preferred.
• Solid mechanical skills.
• Proficiency in technical reading a must.

Responsibilities

• Keeps and maintains plant machinery, equipment, and devices used for plant utilities, plant systems, and all production, service, and administrative departments.
• Uses preventive and corrective maintenance techniques to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
• Uses tools such as calipers, measuring devices, and basic machine tools to perform maintenance.
• Interpret instructions, drawings, and manuals to perform job duties.
• Work with high speed equipment, high pressure systems, structural members, piping, valves, and gauges.
• Maintain safe and orderly working conditions and avoid endangering oneself or others.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Keep supervisor informed of problems and progress.
• Respond to on-call duties as required.
• Record labor hours and complete required reports.
