Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to lift 75 lbs., bend, stoop, climb, reach, sit and stand.
• Must be able to read, write, and count.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Person must have good vision; can be corrected with glasses.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines including CNCs, presses, and other machines to form and machine parts.
• Ensure quality of parts produced; perform visual inspections.
• Use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gages) to verify dimensions.
• Read blueprints and communicate adjustments to setup personnel.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and document shift activity.
• Assist in training new machine operators and complete required forms/reports.
