Job summary

Luvata Ohio, Inc. in Delaware, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining plant systems and equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting production and service operations.

You will work with high-speed equipment, high-pressure systems, and various plant utilities, applying mechanical and electrical skills. On-call duties and accurate labor reporting are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Able to lift 100 pounds, push/pull 300 pounds, and perform physical tasks.
• Work around hot metal equipment, lift equipment on building roof.
• Strong problem-solving ability is essential.
• Electrical/Electronic experience helpful.
• Computer skills required.
• Strong math aptitude preferred.
• Solid mechanical skills and technical reading ability.
• Able to interpret drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant systems, machinery, equipment, and related devices.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Interpret instructions, drawings and manuals for maintenance tasks.
• Use various hand and powered tools, pullers, jacks and measuring devices.
• Ensure safe, clean, and orderly work area; report progress to supervisor.
• Respond to on-call pages as required and document labor hours.
