ODP Business Solutions in Weston, FL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on conveyors, production equipment, and building systems. The role requires troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and responding to production-critical issues to minimize downtime.

The position is mid-level with potential for advancement to Maintenance Mechanic III.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a related field.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor systems; familiarity with Dematic conveyors and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Building Maintenance: perform general facility repairs and assist with major repairs as requested.
• Conveyor System Maintenance: reactive and preventative maintenance on conveyors and sorter equipment; diagnose and repair.
• Equipment Maintenance: maintain inventory and clean equipment and work areas.
• Electrical: troubleshoot low and high voltage electrical/control systems.
• System Installation: assist or perform installations of equipment.
• Problem Solving: apply methods to resolve issues in facility operations.
• Facility Safety: maintain clean work areas, follow safety regulations, and use safe lifting techniques.
