CJE SeniorLife in Deerfield, IL is seeking a full-time Maintenance professional to maintain and repair building systems on-site. The role involves routine rounds, safety checks, and facility upkeep to support residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of related maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to perform diverse tasks from electrical to carpentry. Union membership is required for employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of related maintenance experience.
• Experience with mechanical breakdowns, repairing faucets and toilets, and working with minor electrical equipment (including resetting breakers).
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Carpentry skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing systems with assistance as needed.
• Conduct building and equipment rounds; check temperatures and condition, report issues.
• Check safety issues and take appropriate action.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Install and repair doors, windows, locks, flooring, and other components.
• Maintain lighting, elevators, fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
