Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (approx. 9:30 PM–6:00 AM) to safeguard plant operating equipment and reliability. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, packaging lines, pumps, and related systems using schematics and diagnostic tools.

Strong PLC/controls, electrical knowledge, and welding skills are preferred. Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex failures, applying root-cause analysis, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• 6 months of working experience within the company preferred.
• Must pass urinalysis screening as part of post-offer health assessment.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Operate conveyors, packaging equipment, slicers, pumps, loaders, and injectors.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment failures; provide corrective action.
• Use thermography and vibration analysis to predict failures.
• Repair/modify equipment and fabricate/install components as engineered.
• Read schematics/blueprints during troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety: Lock Out Tag Out and forklift operation safety.
