Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a crew of up to 15 mechanics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will plan, schedule, and supervise preventive maintenance tasks, manage work orders, and drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical engineering and 5+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing, with PLC knowledge and strong organizational skills. Night shift hours are 9pm–6am.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance/production equipment experience with supervision in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PLCs, electro-mechanical systems, and industrial controls.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventative maintenance tasks, daily work orders and small projects.
• Develop scope of work, estimate labor time and cost, and monitor material delivery.
• Monitor progress, document changes, and provide periodic reports.
• Ensure maintenance tasks meet quality standards and are completed timely.
• Lead an agile, high-performing maintenance team (up to 15 mechanics).
• Assist in Continuous Improvement and Total Preventive Maintenance activities.
