Job summary

Sara Lee Frozen Bakery in Tarboro, NC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor (night shift) to oversee maintenance mechanics, drive reliability, and minimize downtime across plant equipment.

The ideal candidate will hold a BS in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, bring 5+ years of maintenance/production equipment experience with supervisory responsibilities, and demonstrate PLC knowledge, advanced controls, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance/production equipment experience with supervisory responsibility.
• PLC programming and advanced industrial controls knowledge.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive maintenance tasks and PM tasks.
• Monitor progress of assigned work and document scope changes.
• Lead up to 15 mechanics and ensure timely, quality work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and Total Preventive Maintenance initiatives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments within the organization.
