The University of South Alabama seeks a Maintenance Mechanic II to perform a variety of trades in maintaining and repairing university buildings and equipment on the Main Campus, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three years of related experience, plus a valid driver's license. The position includes supervising lower level staff, handling electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, and operating shop equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent, three years of experience in the maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, or mechanical equipment and possession of a valid driver’s license and maintenance of a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage with the University of South Alabama. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
