L’Oréal Usa is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain conveyor and building systems in Manchester, United States. You will troubleshoot electrical controls, support external vendors, and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and electrical equipment.

The role requires knowledge of building and electrical systems, LOTO procedures, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. Some shifts may be required to complete projects and replacements.

Qualifications

  • 2 years in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
  • 2 years of conveyor repair experience preferred.
  • Prior knowledge and usage of Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
  • Prior scissor lift experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of light MIG welding and mounting systems fabrication.
  • Familiar with GMP's.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually.
  • Ability to shift working hours as required to complete projects and component replacements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all components of the conveyor system and building systems.
  • Assist with external vendors and contractors as required.
  • Troubleshoot and replace electrical control components.
  • Knowledge of building systems including wet sprinkler, compressed air, and plumbing.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and related components.
  • Manage building electrical systems (480V, 277V, 208V, 120V, 24VDC).
  • Follow LOTO site procedures for equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building and conveyor systems on schedule.
  • Communicate updates on infrastructure and operations to management and maintenance team.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized daily.
  • Interpret specifications, schematics, and manuals.

Job description

This multi-craft position is responsible for maintaining all components of the conveyor system and building systems as well as assisting with external vendors and contractors as required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability todemonstrateaworking knowledge of troubleshooting and replacing electrical controlcomponents.
  • General knowledge of building systems(i.e.,wetsprinkler systems,compressed air systems,and plumbing)
  • General knowledge of HVAC systems including split systems,make-upairunits, airhandling units, gas regulators and components andsupply/exhaustsystems,etc.
  • Ability todemonstrateworking knowledge of building electrical systems including 480V, 277V, 208V, 120 V and 24 VDC systems.
  • Conform to LOTO site procedures for allequipment.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance (PMs)on building and conveyor systemsin established timelines
  • Working knowledge of theMicrosoft Office Suite including, Outlook and Word
  • Responsible for daily communication of all pertinent informationregardingbuilding infrastructure, systems operation,and maintenance to departmentalmanagement and maintenance team
  • Responsible for housekeeping andcleanupofmaintenance andproject areas on a daily basis .
  • Ability tointerpret specifications, schematics,operationand maintenance manuals, etc
  • Assists Maintenance Manager in developing standard operating procedures, daily work schedules, and duty cycles for all repairs and maintenance for conveyor, building, HVAC,and electricalsystems.
  • AssisttheMaintenance Manager in managing 3 rd party building, mechanical, HVAC, and electrical contractors conducting service, repair,and new contractwork.
  • Diagnose and perform general mechanical and electrical equipment repairs including lightfabrication.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (To include relevant work experience, competencies, and education requirements):
  • 2years inIndustrial Maintenancepreferred.
  • 2 years of conveyor repair experiencepreferred.
