We're seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to be a vital part of our team, ensuring peak performance of our plant and facility equipment.

From diagnosing and repairing to installing and modifying, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our operations at their best.

Shift Availability:

  • 11pm - 7am M-F with a $2 shift premium
  • 7:00 am - 3:30 pm M-F

What you'll do...

  • Install, diagnose, analyze, maintain, modify, repair and/or rebuild a variety of plant and facility equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and operate efficiently
  • Assist production personnel in change-over and set-ups
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas or to install new or repaired parts

What you'll need...

Level 1 candidates must bring:

  • One (1) year experience performing routine maintenance and determining when maintenance is needed, or comparable experience with trade school or training
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic problems including knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain powered industrial truck (PIT) license
  • Proficiency in English for effective training and communication about safety and quality issues
  • Ability to read and follow basic blueprints, manuals, and schematics, preferred

In addition to the above, Level 2 candidates must bring:

  • Three (3) years' experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training
  • Knowledge in the use of hand-tools and power-tools
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for moderately complex problems
  • Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gauges
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, manuals, and schematics
  • Experience operating test equipment and/or software
  • Working knowledge of automated controls
  • Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), hoists, and cranes, and maintain PIT certification

Level 3 candidates must bring:

  • Five (5) years' experience in preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training
  • Expertise in hand-tools, power-tools, and lock-out tag-out (LOTO) procedures, with basic electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions
  • Advanced mechanical skills for complex troubleshooting
  • Deep understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature, and pressure gauges
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to inspect and repair components
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience operating test equipment and/or software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in paper converting, chemical/plastics processing, or packaging industries
  • Vocational, Technical, or Associate Degree in relevant fields
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical trades such as HVAC, PLC, and CNC
