Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream Inc. in Tulare, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems and to ensure safety and compliance with PSM and RMP policies.

You will read and follow drawings, provide training to other Utility team members, and help keep equipment running with minimal downtime in a fast-paced ice cream production environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Able to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving.
• One-year related experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Read and follow basic and advanced drawings and schematics.
• Provide training to Utility team members as required.
• Maintain safety and compliance with PSM/RMP guidance.
• Complete daily shift records and reporting.
• Represent The Froneri Way in operations.
