Job summary

Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair electro/mechanical issues on processing, packing, and auxiliary equipment. Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of Best Safety Practices.
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Ensure human safety is never compromised.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance and identify new PM activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve electro/mechanical problems of processing, packing, and auxiliary equipment, and assist manufacturing personnel on process related problems.
• Execute assigned projects under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
• Read and follow blue prints, drawings, and schematics.
• Work on low and high voltage transformers, motors, motor starters, and switchgear.
• Perform change over and support line starts ups.
• Perform established Preventative Maintenance and identify new PM activities as needed.
• Maintain daily record of work performed on MP2 maintenance software.
• Represent the Froneri Way through the behaviors and core values.
