A leading company in New York is seeking a dedicated individual for a role focused on thermoforming setup and maintenance of production equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in machinery maintenance, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety standards. The primary function of this position will be thermoforming set up however will perform regular preventative and minor maintenance of production equipment and facilities when allowed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
6 months to a year or related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports and time cards. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
