Job summary

McLaren is seeking a skilled maintenance technician (per diem) to repair, install, adjust, monitor and maintain hospital building HVAC/R, plumbing and electrical systems at our Lansing campus. You will perform maintenance per manufacturer specs, ensure compliance with Joint Commission and NFPA, and document work orders and materials.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of related experience, and a valid Michigan driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems.
Repair and adjust equipment and systems as needed.
Interpret manufacturer data, drawings, and specifications.
Complete work orders and document materials used.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical, electronic (analog and digital), pneumatic, and mechanical equipment and systems.
Performs operator and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems as specified by manufacturers.
Performs simple or complete repairs of equipment and systems as appropriate.
Researches, interprets local and manufacturer data; reads engineering drawings and specs.
Maintains records for compliance with Joint Commission, State offices, NFPA.
