Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking an on-site Mechanic for maintenance of vehicles and ground service equipment in the Philadelphia area. You will read manuals, diagnose electrical/hydraulic issues and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with attention to safety and quality.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18+, possess a valid driver’s license, and bring basic hand tools. Strong English skills and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Knowledge of fluid types, diesel powered machines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for local maintenance scheduling and performance.
• Perform duties of a skilled maintenance technician following procedures.
• Read manuals, schematics, blueprints and related maintenance docs.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems within a set timeframe.
• Maintain maintenance records and conduct inspections.
