Job summary

Inland Deicing Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe, reliable operation of vehicles and ground service equipment. You will read manuals, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues, perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and keep accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Must read and use maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints and other related maintenance docs to complete work.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems and resolve within established timeframes.
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records and conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must own basic set of tools (sockets/wrenches) up to 1" and up to 1/2" drive.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for local maintenance scheduling and performance to ensure equipment dependability.
• Perform all duties of a skilled maintenance technician following recognized procedures.
• Read and use maintenance manuals, schematics, blueprints and other related documents to complete work assignments.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic problems and resolve within an established timeframe.
• Maintain complete maintenance records and conduct scheduled/unscheduled inspections on equipment.
