Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our client site in McLean, VA. You will perform a wide range of building maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment while contributing to an exceptional occupant experience.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, 3+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work with basic plumbing and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license required.
• Minimum 3 years of general building repair and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and use ladders up to 28 feet.
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and with teams.
• Strong communication and customer service in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, painting, and locksmith tasks.
• Assist operations with facility systems maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain interior spaces like furniture and office infrastructure.
• Respond to tenant requests and support daily operations.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for operations.
• Document safety and facility conditions from inspections.
• Address emergencies and safety hazards promptly.
• Engage in ongoing training and continuous improvement.
