Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in assigned facilities. You will assist the Hard Services Manager and perform defined tasks, including inspections of interiors and exteriors, fixtures, and roofing.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant building maintenance experience, proficiency with CMMS, and a focus on safety and customer service. On-site in Warren, NJ with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent technical training.
• Refrigeration and/or electrician license a plus.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• General interior maintenance – hang pictures, repair office furniture, doors.
• Assist facilities team in maintenance and repair of building and equipment.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment and materials as requested.
• Replace lighting and ballasts.
• Clean HVAC coils, change filters and assist the lead HVAC tech.
• Complete plumbing tasks such as toilet/urinal installation and drain cleaning.
• Other tasks as assigned.
