Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for maintenance related to HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and safety inspections. Performs preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment. Responds to work requests promptly and completes assignments efficiently. The role involves installation and replacement of maintenance equipment and structures. Work hours may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed and approved by the Supervisor.

- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred: Trade School in mechanical fields
- Experience
- Required: 3-5 years of maintenance/mechanical experience
- Skills
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Problem-solving skills for equipment malfunctions and repairs
- Knowledge of safe operation of tools
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for fire alarm, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems
- Technical proficiency in repair and maintenance of interior finishes, millwork, doors, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, medical gas, refrigeration, air systems, and furniture repair
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: Active Driver's License
- Required: STI Fire Stop Certification within 1 year of hire (provided by Cox if not already certified)
- Preferred: MEP Certification from an accredited trade school (e.g., Vatterott College, Ozarks Technical Community College)
- Preferred: Refrigeration or Welding Certification
- Preferred: Fork-lift operation
