Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Texas seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment running and troubleshoot electrical/electronic issues. You will read blueprints, install wiring, and perform repairs to electrical and mechanical components.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical training, 2 years of industrial experience, and knowledge of OSHA safety standards. Candidates should be able to lift heavy loads and work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or completion of technical school.
• At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
• Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements for electrical and mechanical operations.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the production area.
• Install wiring and conduit for newly installed machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and process sheets.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning machinery and perform calibration.
