LD Safety Marking Corp. seeks an experienced Diesel Mechanic to keep our trucks and equipment running smoothly and safely. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and hydraulic issues, and repair or replace worn parts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain personal hand tools.
• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic is mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with transmission systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on construction equipment and trucks, in shop or field.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and drivetrain issues in diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
