Job summary

Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. seeks a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment in our Washington, DC facility.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document repairs in CMMS, and collaborate with operations and contractors to maximize uptime. A high school diploma is required with electrical certification preferred, and day-to-night shifts may rotate as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0–2 years of related experience.
• Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair conveyor systems, automated material handling equipment, and related facility systems to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and associated equipment.
• Execute production line and conveyor changeovers, equipment setups, adjustments, and testing to support operational requirements.
• Utilize the CMMS to document repairs, preventive maintenance activities, labor hours, parts usage, and equipment history.
• Generate and manage work orders, requisition replacement parts, and coordinate materials needed to complete repairs.
• Troubleshoot and assist with PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, VFDs, photo eyes, and automated controls.
• Support maintenance and operation of automated systems, including ASRS where applicable.
• Fabricate, modify, rebuild, and install mechanical components to maintain equipment reliability.
• Conduct inspections and identify opportunities for improvements and downtime reduction.
• Follow all safety policies and LOTO procedures during maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and provide on-call support during nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
• Collaborate with operations personnel, contractors, and other maintenance team members to ensure efficient equipment performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned
