Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. in Sparrows Point, MD is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a weekend night shift. You will perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot conveyors and material handling equipment under supervision.

You will help maintain safety, read schematics and PLCs, and work with CMMS, WMS, and WCS. 2–3 years of maintenance experience preferred; HS diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; 6 months warehouse exp. or equivalent.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems; warehouse control systems, Excel, running reports and interpreting data.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; follow detailed instructions; read and interpret technical procedures; basic math.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reports unsafe conditions.
• Repairs and maintains conveyors: motors, reducers, scanners, sensors and related components.
• Troubleshoots electrical controls (motor circuits, packaging machinery, PLCs) using diagrams and tools.
• Determines parts needs, retrieves and stocks parts, and submits reorder requests.
• Performs routine PM tasks and keeps PM records.
• Familiar with PLCs, Building Management Systems, CMMS, and Vision Systems.
• Ensures safety systems function properly on all machines.

Skills

Experience: 2-3 years in maintenance

Safety-minded with excellent record

Read schematics PLC ladder logic

Education

High school diploma or GED

Warehouse experience 6 months or more

Knowledge of warehouse systems data interpretation
