Aerotek is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for a permanent on-site role in Kentwood, MI, near Grand Rapids. The shift is first, Monday–Friday, 6 am–4 pm, focusing on troubleshooting and repairing production, quality, and inspection equipment to keep lines running smoothly.
You will work with CNC, PLC, electrical and hydraulic systems, participate in improvements, and support preventative maintenance initiatives. Strong benefits and growth opportunities available.
Qualifikationen
- Experience with PLC systems and Fanuc, Siemens, or Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Proficiency with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery.
Aufgaben
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems in production equipment.
- Move and position equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Participate in continuous improvement and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC, PC, NC, and CNC controls.
- Perform electrical work and basic mechanical installation and repairs.
- Visually inspect and test machinery using test instruments.
- Dismantle defective machines and install repairs with precision tools.
- Install and maintain pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance across the facility.
