Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a permanent, on-site role based in Mexico, MO. The position focuses on delivering technical support across machining and assembly processes, collaborating with Operations to meet production and quality goals.

The role includes troubleshooting PLCs, CNC machines, and electronic equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, interpreting schematics, applying basic machining techniques, welding as needed,

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Experience interpreting schematics and blueprints.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs and CNC equipment.
• Hands-on expertise with electrical systems (480V), hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical (480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Interpret blueprints and machine control schematics to ensure accurate execution.
• Apply basic machining techniques, including milling, grinding, and lathe operations.
• Perform welding tasks as needed.
• Utilize Manufacturing ERP systems effectively (training provided if necessary).
