Job summary

ATC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Holland, MI for the 1st shift. The role installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, electrical and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing setting, ensuring optimal operation and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, part replacement, and equipment modification design to improve production methods and efficiency. Requires an associates degree and hands-on maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school in maintenance or related field.
• 2 years technical experience in industrial maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mastery of at least two (2) of the essential maintenance skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Able to follow both written and verbal instruction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure proper function.
• Troubleshoot machines or equipment to diagnose problems.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
• Repair electrical components such as transformers, wiring and related equipment.
• Read blueprints and electrical/hydraulic schematics.
