Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair complex metal fabricating machinery in a high-precision production facility in Kenner, LA. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

The ideal candidate will read schematics and OEM manuals, work safely, and contribute to uptime and reliability. This is a full-time, temporary position with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance experience desirable.
• Hands-on with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC, boilers or air compressors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair metal fabricating machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Read drawings, schematics and service manuals; follow OEM directives.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and proper maintenance documentation.
